Lord knows how much I need cellulite therapy right now. After gaining all that pregnancy weight (that I have not been able to shed off despite my best intentions) I’ve mainly become pretty dimple-y, which is not a good thing when the dimples aren’t smile-related, if you know what I mean. :)

Short of a miracle, anything that can smooth and tighten, it’s a go for me.

Having lived in Miami for a while, I appreciated having access to various businesses and services, which I don’t normally see living elsewhere. For example, in our area of Hallandale Beach, there’s a finance service called the Sands Brothers. Who knew that there’s more to the name Sands than just being beach-related? :) Interesting, don’t you think?

As most of you know, my husband works on the field and uses his personal car to drive to his work sites. Unfortunately, there have been quite a few times when his presence on the sites causes some confusion, particularly due to his vehicle’s lack of identification. The one time my family and I traveled to New Jersey to visit my relatives, my poor daughter was stuck doing all the touristy stuff with us. Last year, when we moved to South Florida, we immediately made plans to go to Disneyworld. As we drove to Orlando, we saw some signs talking about discounted Disneyworld tickets. Not knowing any better and wanting to get a few extra savings, we immediately went to the place indicated on the sign and, as it turned out the company was selling timeshares!

I could never forget the look my husband’s face when we had to sit through that awful presentation. We also lost half a day of our vacation because of those vultures. Never again! :D

Anyway, had we taken the time to look at some online travel guides like the one from Trusted Tours and Attractions, we would have made far better deals with the Orlando tours that they offered.

Now that we have recently moved to Georgia, we are planning to visit Florida again since there are a lot of other attractions we haven’t visited yet, such as Cypress Gardens Florida and the water parks of Seaworld and Universal Studios. Hopefully, no one will be selling us some timeshares over there.
