Having lived in Alberta for more than a year now, I have learned to appreciate what the province has to offer on many levels. Opportunities for work are verily available, there are a lot of natural wonders to view and visit, the people are nice, and the quality of living is very good. This past year alone, I have witnessed first hand how many people have migrated from other provinces and countries to Alberta because of these exact reasons.

The good thing about this is, people are always welcome to move here! Rental and home-ownership opportunities abound across the province. For instance, if you are one of the many migrants who are contemplating moving to the capitol city of Alberta, options like Edmonton houses for rent are readily available.

I need someone to explain the strange relationship between men and bacon. My husband had the day off so I asked him what did want for breakfast. His usual answer is cereal, but today he wanted bacon, eggs and some toast. He reminded me of the dog on the Beggin Strips commercial. That commercial seems to come on my Expert Satellite Georgia channels every time we are in the kitchen. I shudder to think what is really in those treats, but the dog sure loves them and my husband is the same way whenever he eats a full breakfast. I try to encourage him to eat more fruit and grains for breakfast, but he wants his plate full of greasy artery clogging food. I do not want him to make me a single mom before my time. I must give him some credit. He does have a job that requires him to be outside and he does physically work in all types of weather. When he comes home he is exhausted and usually showers, eats and falls asleep. I just wish he did not look so much like that dog when I mention bacon.

My family and I are big television watchers. Whenever we move to a new city or country, the first things we always have in our empty apartment is a TV as well as a satellite TV connection. My daughter has to have her animation channels, my husband his sports, and me my food and home improvement shows.
