Saving

More Friday5!

1. When dining out, do you usually save room for dessert?
:: Of course! We are a family of dessert lovers, we can’t have a meal without a sweet ending. :)

2. How do you feel about saving places in line or saving seats in theaters?
:: I’m okay with that as long as the people saving the space are saving it for only a couple of people and not the entire town. As for lines, savers should inform people behind them that they are saving the space for people so the other people in line won’t get shocked when people start cutting in.

3. What’s one thing you did to save money this past year?
:: I did not buy any handbags this year. Not a one! Hubby is happy about that, very. :)

4. Besides money, what’s something you’re saving for later?
:: I am hoping to save my coming baby’s cord blood for future use. :) I think the 2011 bob revolution is something to save up for, too.

5. In what way did you recently save the best for last?
:: Marrying my husband. :) Recently or eight years ago, it will always be the best thing I did in my life. :)

Condiments

More Friday5!

1. What’s something that demands ketchup?
:: For me, most everything! :) And now, it seems like my daughter is taking after my ketchup love. We put them on eggs, burgers, fish, hotdogs, chicken, meat, etc. You’d be hard-pressed to find a dish we won’t put kethcup on. :)

2. What’s the best thing to do with the leftover packets of cheese and red-pepper flakes you get with pizza delivery?
:: Reuse them! Cheese for sprinkling atop pasta dishes, and pepper flakes to spice up dipping sauces.

3. What’s something (besides salad) that’s good with salad dressing?
:: Sandwiches! We love our club sandwiches with vinaigrette or italian dressing. My daughter even likes thousand island dressing on her burgers. :)

4. What’s a condiment you’re especially brand-loyal to?
:: Heinz Ketchup. It’s as important to me as medicare supplement plans is to medicare users. :)

5. What’s the weirdest use of condiments you’ve seen by other people?
:: I try not to judge people by the condiments they use, particularly since I have my weird ways with condiments myself. Anything with ketchup probably weirds out a lot of people. :)

Excursion

More Friday5!

1. Of excursions you remember taking in elementary school, which was your favorite?
:: Each of the field trips I have taken in grade school are all memorable. However, my most favorite one would have to be in third grade when our class went to Fort Santiago. The fort was historically interesting and all, but, what made that day memorable was my most favorite actress of all was shooting a movie there that day! I got to see her in person and got to fall in love with her niceness. Until today, I am her bestest fan. :)

2. Of excursions you remember taking in elementary school, which was your least favorite?
:: The one where my mom was chaperone, haha! No offense Mom! *wink* I hope my daughter won’t feel the same way when its my turn to chaperone her. I might become the unwanted cigar in the no smoking zone. :D

3. What seems like a really good school excursion destination that nobody seems to take?
:: The Oprah Show, hehe!

4. Which of your recent activities might pass for an educational excursion?
:: We haven’t been out too much on account of the wintry weather. But, I guess, moving and settling down in a new country is sort of like the ultimate excursion for my family.

5. When a sack lunch was needed for a field trip, what was most likely in your brown paper bag? How about now?
:: A hotdog sandwich and a juice box.
