:: In a way. We wanted to have kids but we were not expecting it to happen so soon after my previous miscarriage.
2. WERE YOU MARRIED AT THE TIME?
:: Yes. Or else, halo ang balat sa tinalupan. :D
3. WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS?
:: Surprised and scared.
4. WAS ABORTION AN OPTION FOR YOU?
:: Definitely, no.
5. HOW OLD WERE YOU?
:: 28
6. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT?
:: Took a home pregnancy test to satisfy a nagging feeling. Satisfied, I was indeed.
7. WHO DID YOU TELL FIRST?
:: Hubby.
8. DID YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE GENDER?
:: Yes.
9. DUE DATE?
:: December 16 2003.
10. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS?
:: Thank goodness, no.
11. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE?
:: Arroz Caldo and McChicken sandwich, hehe! And chocolates, mostly.
12. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST?
:: That I was bedrested almost the whole nine months – I couldn’t go out, so I couldn’t go shopping or be able to wear any cute preggy clothes or flaunt my belly as much as I wanted to.
13. WHAT IS YOUR FIRST CHILD’S GENDER?
:: Female.
14. DID YOU WISH YOU HAD THE OPPOSITE SEX OF WHAT YOU WERE GETTING?
:: I actually wished for a boy, but my hubby wanted a girl so it ended up as a win-win situation, hehe!
15. HOW MANY POUNDS DID YOU GAIN THROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY?
:: Close to sixty pounds. And that’s mostly because I wasn’t getting a lot of exercise while resting in bed. :P Needless to say, I was already on the lookout for weight loss products long before I gave birth. :D
16. DID YOU HAVE A SHOWER PARTY?
:: Yes. Just a small one with friends and family.
17. WAS IT A SURPRISE OR DID YOU KNOW?
:: I knew about it.
18. DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY?
:: Placenta Previa and Pre-term labor.
19. WHERE DID YOU GIVE BIRTH?
:: Cardinal Santos in San Juan
20. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR?
:: Nine hours from the time of induction.
21. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL?
:: Hubby
22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH?
:: Hubby and everyone in the operating room.
23. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION?
:: C-Section.
24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN?
:: I had anesthesia for the C-Section.
27. HOW MUCH DID YOUR CHILD WEIGH?
:: 6.9 lbs
28. WHEN WAS YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY BORN?
:: November 26 2003
30. WHAT DID YOU NAME HIM/HER?
:: Ninna!
