Of Old Pianos
One of the first things my mom bought for our home, aside from the couch, was a piano, and it has been in my family’s possession for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately, since only I and my siblings could play it and we haven’t been living at our folk’s house for a while now, our poor piano must already be in deep disrepair. It hasn’t been tuned in at least eight years, the paint is coming off in some parts, and some of its keys have fallen out. Now that my daughter is showing a lot of interest in playing, I hope to be able to restore it and someday hand it down to her - music, memories, and all.
