Independence
There’s no other perfect symbol of freedom than she.
I and my family have been fortunate to visit and photograph Lady Liberty a few months back when we took a trip to New York. It was a pretty short four-day stay and our minds were teeming with lots of learning and memories. My daughter was only two-years old at that time and how I wish she’ll be able to remember our experience seeing this beautiful symbol of independence and how lady liberty stands for all the freedoms we hold dear to us and enjoy right now.
Photographs help, of course, but how I wish it were so easy to buy memory as easy as we would for our home computers. For now, these snippets of experiences will live in our hearts and minds until we allow new and more vivid ones come along to replace them.
