Kid’s Question:

If you were the ruler of the world and you could have anything you wanted as well as have people do anything you wanted, do you think you would get greedy and mean or would you be a good and fair ruler?

My Answer:

Digging deep into my ram (or random access memory for all you un-geeks out there), from my experience of being the eldest among my siblings, I think, without a doubt that I will be a mix of greedy and good, hehe. Being a ruler, you have to adapt depending on the situation. If the situation calls for, for example, serious arbitration, I have been told that I’m objective when it comes to making decisions so I know I can be a good arbiter. However, having been the partygirl that I am, I know that I can charm/ cajole/ mandate anyone to “sponsor” my parties. If I can lift no finger to do anything, then I wouldn’t.

So I guess that’s it. I won’t delude anyone into thinking that I’m a perfectly just, good, and saintly ruler because ultimately I’m only human and I’m not without fault. :)
