Have you read “The Secret“? In a nutshell, the book tells us that to create what we want, it is important to feel that we already have what we want and not just think it. For some of us, attracting positive outcomes by letting go of negativity is something that’s more conceptual than real, especially given the kind of world we live in.

How about Eckhart Tolle’s newest book “A New Earth“? Tolle basically says that through the exploration of our ego, we are able to identify the illusions that most of us identify with and live in. These “illusions” create a life filled with unnecessary suffering both for ourselves and others.

What’s common about both books is that they anchor on the Law of Attraction - that is, that our mind is a magnet, therefore we attract what we think. Given this, how do we then use the law of attraction in our life to produce the results we want?

The Secret works with A New Earth through this tool that I came across with called The Sedona Method. The Sedona Method helps people to manifest their goals through dissolving rather than strengthening the ego. Rather than trying to want our goals more and force ourselves to think and feel a certain way, with The Sedona Method we create what we want by letting go of our ego, to train our consciousness to transcend anything negative, all while uncovering the positive that is inherent in each and every one of us. This method makes Tolle’s work practical in the same vein that it reinforces the awareness that The Secret has unveiled. Whatever we desire to attract into our life, this method is a key to unlocking these possibilities.
