WS09: Wee!

My PC’s anti-virus expired recently so this necessitated for us a quick trip to BestBuy. Look what we took home too…

Yii-hii!!

Although hubby and I talked about getting a console as soon as one became available again, we never had any plans on getting one yesterday. That is, until we picked up BestBuy’s in-store bulletin and saw that they had a limited supply of Wii consoles available. Not expecting anything, (I mean, Wii consoles tended to disappear the first two hours after being put on the shelf, right?) imagine our surprise when they did have a few boxes stacked on the floor!

Imagine what a surprise that was to our credit card, too, haha!

I don’t really know how my daughter does it but she does this (and some strikes too!) without any effort.

As for me, I’m still waiting for a dance pad. That’s my sport, hehe.

wow! naku, baka di ka makagawa ng chores mo dahil dyan! hahaha! we cant afford to have one, esp since we know that we would become addicts to it. baka wala na kaming gawin kundi ganyan lang hehehe

hi dyes, we actually got this for ninna kasi it’s good exercise for her kesa nasa tapat lang siya ng TV or playing on the PC. it also allows her to understand the nuances of the various sports. hopefully sa totoong buhay ma-apply niya haha! as for the chores, i’m sure they’ll get done – in time, hehe! ~m

I have a new guitar for my guitar hero. So pwede na kaming magjamming ni DA POGI. I also have cooking Mama and Trauma Center na. You should also try playing WiiPlay with Ninna. Nakakatuwa.

hi jenb, uy thanks for the reco. so far pinagsasawaan pa lang namin ang wiisports. pinapapili ako ni hubby either guitar hero or dance pad (i am allowed to get only get either, haha!) – mas pinili ko ang dancepad. pahiram na lang ng guitar mo :D ~m

no way?! you managed to get one from Best Buy??? grabe, swerte! naghahanap din kasi auntie ko, so eschewing Best Buy and Circuit City kasi nga alam ko malamang wala na sa mga yun, we went to Sam’s Club. turns out, wala na rin silang stock.

hi ate k, yup! of all places, BestBuy pa talaga! if you really want to get one, i suggest you should try going now, as in right now. i think they are putting the consoles (all kinds! may mga stocks din ng xbox and ps3) out on the floor kasi the newest GTA game was released last night. plus, there’s another game coming out on the 4th of may, e how nga naman would they sell the GTA game kung wala naman paglalaruan yung mga tao hehe. tell your auntie to go go go! :) ~m

mee, i got one for J’s birthday too, hehe! nakaka-adik nga grabe, pero hinay hinay din muna kami sa games, (maliban sa mahal) di pa kami sawa sa sports na kasama. swerte kayo nakakuha sa best buy. we had to get ours at nintendo store lang dahil there’s none available elsewhere! :D

hi abby, ka-adik no? susulitin nga rin muna namin yung sports pack. :) na-swerte lang talaga kami na meron sa best buy, ni hindi nga namin in-expect eh, haha! i guess it was destined na magka-wii kami. :) ~m

Meeya, I guess this is not classified as impulse buying since you really had plans of buying one, right? Hmm, palusot pa!

I never found Wii exciting since I find the concept so weird. But there must be something there since everyone is buying it. Is it really fun?

hi keith, galing ng palusot, i’ll tell that to my hubby, haha! nung una i also thought that the Wii was sorta weird. weird din kasi yung mga patalastas ng japs about it, haha! pero once we tried it at one of our friends’ home, nakaka-addict. :) and it really makes you move, unlike other consoles na puro daliri lang ang umaandar. and my husband, being sporty and all, sine-seryoso niya talaga ang games, hahaha! i personally love the bowling and tennis games. yung boxing medyo violent pa rin, even for a game. :P and i am also hoping that ninna would be the next star athlete. sana tennis or golf kasi mas malaki ang pot at endorsements dun, haha! ~m
