   hi suzy, it actually depends on the direction you’re going. :) US1 runs all the way from the south (in Key West, Florida) up to the North (in Maine and towards Canada). so, if you’re starting your trip from FL, this is your 0 mile marker. but, if you’re travelling from ME, then the mile marker across the street is the end of your journey. :) ~m

   I wonder if the builders of that road thought an I95 would ever come along. US 1 in Connecticut is chock a block with history and interesting old stuff–but not enough turn lanes!
