WS05: Mess Stress

Give my girl five unattended minutes in the family room and here’s what you’re sure to get.

Surprise! The cleaning lady’s (that would be me) nightmare.

I’ve already set aside our sunroom as her playroom, hoping to isolate the mess over to that one corner. Alas, no.

Can you imagine how a wisp of a girl can turn this:

Into this?

Que horror!

However, I don’t stress about the mess too much. I usually just let her have her way with her toys, remind her every so often to put away those that she doesn’t want to play with anymore, and then we would just clean up the mess together right before dinner. (All while crossing my fingers that no one should unexpectedly feel the need to drop by our home, hehe.)

Moms with more than one kid, how do you do it???

~~~
This was our messy, carefree, weekend at home.
    I have three! I designated a room for the toys but these manage to get their way out of that room. Our library looks like a toy room too. Grrr.
    Have a great week! My WS:
    Burgoo Lunch
    *sigh* Thanks, Mee. Your entry kinda made me feel so much better…about the kalat that our little girls make. Hahaha! When someone rings the doorbell, I panic a little and make sure to just open the door ever so slightly. ;) And I always tell my friend, Bet, to let me know beforehand before she drops by. No surprise visits please! Hahaha! Have a great week!
    When my daughter was little she could do that in under 5 minutes. Fun though when they can spread out and play.
    my kids’ room are also like that! it can only stay clean and tidy for about 1-2 hours after I clean up and vacuum…
    just teach your daughter to clean up everyday… until she gets the hang of it.
    JO’s last blog post..My new toy!
    hi jo, yup! ninna helps me clean up the mess naman. or else nilalagay ko sa lockbox yung toys niya at hindi niya na malalaro, hehe. :) ~m
    kala ko nagiisa ako! kala ko matindi na si ethan LOL! normal kid lang pala siya. si ethan pag nagkalat na that’s a queue for me na nag papansin na ang anak ko. Like you, I don’t fuss so much about HIS mess na kasi uulit ulitin din lang naman niya, inaayos ko na lang pag tapos na siya maglaro.
    anyhoo, you are tagged! mwah!http://www.mysomethingpurple.com/2008/04/lve-dna.html
    hi em, oo normal lang yan magkalat sila. normal din na maging taga-ligpit tayo, haha! that is, until kaya na nilang magligpit by themselves. uy pang-3 ka nang nag-tag sa akin niyan ha, sige gagawin ko soon. *muah* ~m
