I’ve been tagged with this mini-travel meme by Nyree. Let’s see what we can do here…

If you had all the money in the world, where would you travel (somewhere you haven’t been to before)?
:: I would book a ticket on Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo and do a Space Flight! Why, if I had all the money in the world, heck, I’d even bring the entire barangay with me.

What about that place (/those places) draws you?
:: All our lives, we have been grounded to the earth by sheer force of gravity. Just once, I’d like to defy gravity and float over the earth and maybe see our planet the way God sees it - blue, beautiful, and in its own perfect context in the vast universe.

While I’m there, maybe I could take a picture of me, a la Atlas with the world (kunyari) on my shoulders, hehe. That would be sooo cool! :D

When you travel, what is your usual purpose (i.e. shop, learn about the history, learn about culture, pure R &R, etc)?
:: I travel primarily to be somewhere else. Sometimes, we need to walk a few feet away from our “familiar zone” in order to meet new challenges, learn new things, make our mark, or leave our stresses behind. Travelling helps us become better persons - physically, spiritually, and actually.

But, if there’s a sub-orbital Outlet Store up there, I wouldn’t pass it up. :)

Give one travel tip.
:: Research. Lots and lots of research. Sometimes it’s ok to just go where the wind takes you and then play things by ear. However, you won’t be able to make the most out of your travel that way. Find out the climate, the weather, what would you need to bring or wear, would you need to learn basic foreign phrases, would you need a vaccine, would you need zero-gravity training, would you need to bring your own arinola, would you need to learn SOS in Morse Code, those kinds of things. Preparation is key.

And of course, take lots of pictures and enjoy!
