It’s a good thing that TinaBabee tagged me with this one, otherwise, there won’t be any updates here on my blog this week at all, hehe. Lazy, lazy.
So, here are 20 things that both you and I never thought of about me until now.
1. I try not to use my second name, if I can help it.
2. My mom had my sister and I take piano, ballet, and hawaiian dance lessons when we were little. All I have to show for it are Ballade Pour Adeline (my one and only piano piece), muscled calves, and the memory of Nora Aunor singing “Tiny Bubbles” everytime I come near a grass skirt.
3. I used to fantasize about being Axl Rose’s girlfriend.
4. I never had a Barbie doll. I had only one Barbie doll. Ever. It was a forgettable experience.
5. My handwriting is generically Theresian.
6. I think my husband married me because (he thinks) I look like Alicia Mayer. Wehehe, love is blind. And I am ilusyonada.
7. I do not know how to “himay” a crab, so I don’t eat crabs anymore to save me the trouble.
8. I laugh and cry easily. And a lot.
9. I am not a particular fan of the beach, though I’d like to live beside one someday.
10. The usual first impression of me is “suplada”. *shrug*.
11. I joined a singing contest when I was 11 years old. I didn’t win. I joined a beauty pageant when I was 14. I won. I think it’s because there was no talent portion.
12. I am not a credible source of chismis. I have a tendency to forget details, or mix things up.
13. I don’t have a poker face.
14. I hate sport fishing and hunting. I think we humans have to find a better way to entertain ourselves rather than harm other living things.
15. I don’t believe in tikbalangs, dwendes, tiktiks, manananggals, and the like. But I do believe in Guardian Angels.
16. I am unbeatable at Charades involving pinoy movie titles.
17. I can only play the A, C, D, E, & G chords on the guitar.
18. I lost at a Spelling Bee because of the word “diaphragm”.
19. I wanted to have a baby when I was 21, so that by the time I’m 35, my teenager and I would go through our respective coming-of-age-life-crisis together (I, mid-life, she adolescence). Alas, it was not meant to be.
20. I think lobster is overrated.
I’m inviting everyone (who hasn’t answered this) to take a shot at it. It’s not that painful. However, I’d like to see my friend Lezew (who helped me dig deep into my psyche in order to complete this meme) answer this one. :)

I forgot to add na you love bubbles (powerpuff girls and we watched the movie), that you were watching princess diaries at the same time the Twin Towers were being attacked, and that you drove for your boss on a couple of occasions.

Great list! I don’t use my second name as well mostly because I don’t like it. I also feel the same way about lobsters, what’s the big deal aside from the price?

hi marj, jologs na kung jologs but i really don’t get what’s so special about lobsters talaga. i’m still waiting to be wow-ed, though. malay natin… :P
when we went down south last year, isa sa plan was to eat lobster sa kaikoura but we missed the place. a filipino family went there as well so nagpabii na lang. ang mahal, masarap naman sya. actually, nung kinuha namin, sa car pa lang inumpisahan ng kainin.
Huy! Anong walang barbie? Meron ka no! Akin ung peaches and cream, tapos sayo ung pink yung damit na pang-ofc, working girl barbie ata yun, may brief case pa nga dba? Hahaha.. Tapos nababaligtad yung palda, nagiging ruffled skirt pag gabi kuno hahaha…
mamah, overrated pa rin ang lobsters :P
